Walk of Faith

"Sometimes in life, you come to a 'bridge', a challenge in your life that you have to decide upon, which only YOU can find the answer to. You have to learn the difference on which bridges to burn, and which ones to cross. The one you pick to set ablaze and never look back, might have looked perfectly fine from the shoreline, but you on the inside know it had hidden holes and beams ready to fall in the middle that would thwart your journey. The one you pick to cross might be a shaky walk on a swinging bridge, but it's a walk of faith. No matter how hard the wind blows and tries to knock you off your course, don't look back, don't turn around and don't look down. This is part of my "Local Landmarks, Landscapes, and Legends" series I'm working on. It will consist of local area photos I have taken of things we around here consider landmarks, legends, or just plain old pretty landscapes, structures or places. Some of the things I post may not be appealing to some, or may not even be something you'd think I should post or have seen in your area, but to me, it's beauty in it's own way. Living and growing up in the hills and mountains of Upper East Tennessee, I see beauty in so many things, every day of my life, and it finally occurred to me to start sharing it from my artist's perspective. I only hope you can see it the way I do.
