Meg, in her debut appearance at BotCon 2010, with King Starcream.
I finally finished her and couldn't be happier that I actually made it. I finally was able to cosplay at the perfect place, Orlando Florida's BotCon 2010, where it just so happens that Megatron was inducted into the first ever Transformers Hall of Fame too. People were calling her Megatron at first, but hey, that just means I did it right if they knew who I was portraying. And being there with the King and his crew at his first BotCon too, made it even better for me. This may have been her first appearance, but it won't be her last. Meg is long away from retirement! You'll be seeing this female Megatron again real soon.
Megara (aka MegaGirl1, MegaraTron) is mine, my original character and costume, copyrighted to me. I worked long and hard on her, so please don't copy me. King Starscream belongs to his owners/builders/himself. Megatron and other Transformers characters belong to their respective companies and owners, no matter how badly I wish they were mine.
Oh! Thanks! The very large Coronation Starscream is actually a friend of mine, not my build. I did do Megara, and my son did a smaller version of King Starscream that was dubbed 'Prince Starscream'. I was just looking through pictures of Baltimore ComicCon to add some on here.
Mine is different than any other I've done. I did the frame in plastic actually, and the covering is vinyl with foam interior and spacers where needed to form fit it to me. If you pm, I'll explain it a little better. A good crafter shares tips and creation secrets, but doesn't share every secret with everyone.
I've started on the Ravage you commissioned. He should be done with the next day or so. I'll post pics as soon as I can.
