I was requested to upload some of my previous cosplays I've done, so, I dug deep back into my archives and pulled some of myself and my son out, and as promised, here is one of the kiddo.
In this one, Matt was playing around as Lil'Jack and posing for me for pictures while on our pirate ship parade float and we were just taking random shots, when I returned home to upload them, we noticed this shot resembled a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean 1, Curse of the Black Pearl. Matt pointed out it looked like when Captain Jack said "We're Catching Up!", when he's at the helm of the ship, fighting to keep control of the wheel during a pouring thunderstorm. So, I used the photo to recreate the scene in Lil'Jack style, putting in a background of a raging sea and stormy skies from other pictures I'd taken of the sky and clouds and from a picture of the ocean from a previous beach trip, darkened it, and animated rain into the photo, then made it into an avatar size so we could use it on the pirate forum where Matt is the mascot. This was the result!
As usual, Jack Sparrow, nor POTC belongs to me, although I wish it did...yadda yadda, you know the drill. Lil'Jack/Captain Lil'Jack Sparrow character belongs to my son, Matthew, and myself.
