This is work number two in my new series of photo and graphic manipulations I'm calling 'Crazy Creations', which began while I was bored at night waiting for paint on a wall to dry so I could do the second coat.....no one else was in the house but me, all was quiet...my son was gone to our Mamaw's house, so I started playing around, and came up with the general idea. I've done these things before, but never really saved them or displayed them, but just used it as a way to mess around, experiment with textures and new skills and relieve some stress, kill time or boredom, and just to be silly. I admit I like it, even though abstract is not my strongest point. I do have a few ideas for some new ones....so watch for them. And if you have any ideas, throw them my way and we'll see if I can make them into crazed manips too. :giggle:

Dangerous Daisies : A Pirate Dream

This one came to me while creating the first one in the series, Quantum Leap. My swords are sitting there leaning up against the desk, where I sat them after removing them from their display on the wall so I could pack them up and paint the walls of the house. I started thinking...searched for a graphic of a sword, and started playing around with it....and came up with the circle of swords. It kinda looked like a flower to me...so I kept on, and on, and on...and well, you get the idea. The flower became a bunch of flowers, then came the cannon ball centers, the wavy water background and the whitewater splashes behind the swords....and Dangerous Daisies emerged, all made from piratical items. Little tidbit of fun info about the daisies is that NONE of the swords touch at all on either end....not even the tips, no flower touches any part of another, they don't even touch the cannonball centers, and each circle of swords is turned a different way. None are identical in sizing either, so each flower is different, yet the same. I also made the image much larger this time so to make it easier to see the detail if and when you view it in full size, and put the title at the bottom along with my logo.

It's a pirate's dream......so now I'm looking for more pirate items to use for the next crazy creation of mine!
