MOVIE GENERATION MEETS THE NEW GENERATION.

Me and the kiddo ventured north to hit the Baltimore ComicCon for a day on Sunday August 29th and hit the costume contest and the main floor for a few hours as Megara (Lady Megatron) and Prince Starscream. So many fantastic costumes! I wish I'd been able to carry my camera more! But this is one picture I was able to get, thankfully. Movie generation Bumblebee meets the new generation of G1, Prince Starscream.

This was the last time Prince Starscream was going to be going out for a while till some maintenance, upgrades and repairs can be done, mainly since Matt is outgrowing some parts of the suit, so we sent the Prince out with a BANG!

Congratulations to my son Matt, aka Prince Starscream for his first place WIN in the Baltimore ComicCon costume contest! First place male under 13!

Thank you! That Bee was really well made. He was nice even when I was asking a million questions about how he made it and poking his armor...lol!

:D I think he was just happy to have someone (actually, lots of people) appreciating his costume that much. :)

Can you believe it was all leftover recycled plastic bottles and bins and a pair of moonshoes that he painted up? That's what the guy told me. And one of his arm pieces was chipping paint and I saw it at the end of the day and sure enough, it looked like part of a laundry detergent bottle. I was shocked.

I know! I wish I could do that with plastic! My son would love it. The guy in Bumblebee also created the War Machine (from Iron Man 2) that was there. It looked fantastic too!
